I'm confused about the difference between downline builder and promote your own business.

I did a search on the program i want to promote and found no one has posted it since August 2007.   It is a gpt site.  Where, then can I post my link?

You may use downline buiders as form of autoresponsers or mailing lists to contact and get referals. Promotion for your own website is like contacting admins for selling advertising or find or sponstor or partner programs for getting referals are earning with your business website.
