Martingale betting system
Title Martingale betting system
Description Martingale
Sent by dada-as

Originally, martingale referred to a class of betting strategies popular in 18th century France.

You start with one bet. If you win, you start again with one bet. If you lose, you double your bet. Each time you lose, you double your last lost bet. Eventually you are bound to win. When you win you would recover all your lost bets plus one unit profit against your initial wager.

Although infallible in theory, the Martingale system requires a large bankroll, has a very low return and is a very risky one because of the maximum bet limits imposed by the casinos. If you run out of money or reach the house limit, you can lose a lot with no chance to recover your losses.

Example:

You bet $5 and you lose.
Your next bet is $10. If you lose:
Your next bet is $20. If you lose:
Your next bet is $40. If you lose:
Your next bet is $80. If you lose:
Your next bet is $160. If you lose:
Your next bet is $320. If you lose:

So now your staking 640$ to make profit of 5$, now this is martingale problem, you need to have huge bank and big nerves to double your stake every time you loose.

Martingale is one of well know systems by bookies, casinos and betting companies, they fight against it by setting up limit to maximum bet so if you martingale takes you over the betting limit you cannot bet.

So I really don’t suggest this system to those with low bank and will small nerves.

There are other better systems for you.
